We are currently representing a leading global Financial Services firm in the appointment of high-calibre professionals as part of a period of strategic growth and investment.

Our client operates at the intersection of corporate, fiduciary and regulatory services, partnering with private equity houses, investment managers and international financial institutions. Backed by long-term institutional investment and an established global brand, the firm is scaling its capabilities, technology and international footprint.

The Business Generation Lead will operate globally but with a particular focus on the North American market. You will build relationships with intermediaries, referrers and other industry participants, as well as with key internal stakeholders with a view to source, convert, and deliver new business leads in line with revenue targets.

Role Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior leadership to identify, target, and engage prospective clients across target sectors
  • Develop integrated and collaborative sales campaigns in partnership with key stakeholders to raise awareness and visibility of services.
  • Attend key industry conferences and events and drive follow-up activity to secure introductions to prospects.
  • Drive continuous improvement of the sales process, including optimisation and automation where appropriate.
  • Track key performance indicators to assess effectiveness of business generation strategies, and present regular insights to senior management.
  • Own and be accountable for managing the pipeline of opportunities arising from Business Generation activities.
  • Manage the business development forecasting process to ensure adequate resources are available to fund initiatives and achieve objectives.

Education, Skills & Experience

  • Degree qualified (or equivalent), with approximately 10 years’ experience in business-to-business sales within professional, financial, or related services sectors.
  • Able to demonstrate circa 5 years\' experience leading business development initiatives in new markets, either across North America or on a global basis.
  • Proven ability in the design and delivery of business development programmes that have delivered measurable new business wins.
  • A proven sales track record and ideally experience working in a commission-based environment.
  • Knowledge of Cayman Islands laws and regulations, underpinned by the knowledge of, and ideally experience in, the US legal market.
