Are you passionate about accelerating the UK’s transition to clean energy? Installio is looking for commercially and operationally minded Head of Solar to lead our growing solar business unit.
As one of the UK’s fastest-growing renewable installation platforms and a trusted partner for solar retailers, installers, and manufacturers, Installio is on a mission to build the leading platform for residential solar retrofit delivery. With new partnerships recently secured, Installio is set to become one of the leading solar installers in the country.
Tasks
We’re seeking a Head of Solar to oversee the strategic deployment of our solar business unit. You will work closely with our Head of Sales, Solar technical leads, in-house design team, and field operations team to position Installio as the market leader in at scale residential solar deployment. With significant industry experience, you will work with senior leadership to develop and execute a commercial and operational strategy that ensures quality and efficiency at scale.
Responsibilities
- Lead our end-to-end strategy for residential solar PV and battery storage systems
- Develop and improve internal commercial and operational processes
- Set standards for efficiency and success
- Hire and onboard a team of technical supervisors, designers, and surveyors
- Stay up to date with solar and battery technologies, standards, and best practices
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential solar PV and battery systems
- Process driven mindset
- Passion for renewables and clean tech
- Commercial and operational experience within the industry
- Experience with MCS standards for solar PV and battery storage
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach
- Strong communication skills and confidence leading a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, growing startup
