Are you looking for the next step in your career and want to make a positive impact on the climate? Installio is on the hunt for an enthusiastic individual to join us as a Heat Pump Installer, joining our experienced installation team ready to help tackle the UK’s net-zero transition.
At Installio, we’re tackling the biggest barrier to scale: installation. Our mission is to unlock the UK\’s green collar workforce using technology to enable faster, better, and more scalable installs. Working directly with homeowners as well as installing on behalf B2B partners such as E.ON and Good Energy, our tech-enabled installation platform helps deliver and grow heat pump installation capacity at scale.
Tasks
Working directly in customers’ homes, you will be an intrinsic member of our heat pump installations teams and work closely with our senior installers to finalize and certify your installations. Prior experience with heat pumps would be great, and as an experienced plumber or heating engineer, you already have the hard skills needed on the job and will work under the expert guidance of our Team Lead.
This role also includes a pathway from installer to lead engineer, where you will lead your own team of installers.

- Skillfully install heat pumps in residential properties
- Ensure customer satisfaction through high-quality service
- Collaborate with our senior technicians to sign off and commission your installations
Your profile
Required:
- NVQ level 2 or 3 in Plumbing
- Experience installing pipework (solder & press) for unvented cylinders and radiators
- Experience decommissioning heating systems
- Experience fitting radiators
- Valid driver\’s license with 6 points or less
- Must be able to fulfill the physical requirements of the role, i.e. able to bend, stretch, kneel and crouch, as well as be comfortable working at height and in confined spaces – you’ll also be expected to carry heavy items such as radiators, boilers and other work related equipment
