Headquartered in Woodley just east of Reading, it has offices in Victoria, Belfast and Woolwich.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Document Controller preferably within the rail sector (3-5 years)
  • Experience with large infrastructure and/or multi-projects (Rail desirable)
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Familiarity with document control systems and software (Aconex, ASITE, SharePoint)
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations mainly ISO19650 standards
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of TFL Site Rules and Standards (is a bonus)
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads

Job Description

Installation Technology (IT) have been providing network solutions for over 30 years. We work with some of the biggest organisations in education, healthcare and transport. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Document Controller to join our team within the rail sector in London. As a Document Controller, you will play a key role in the management and organisation of critical project documentation.

Requirements

  • Compliance check and distribute project documentation in line with governance requirements
  • Ensure that all documentation is accurately recorded and stored in the document management system
  • Maintain and administer project document register and live project trackers
  • Assist in the preparation of project reports and presentations
  • Maintain and administer project workflow reporting to meet programme requirements as guided by the COO and the client
  • Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders, including Engineering, Delivery, Service Management, and Finance teams, regarding progress or status of projects
  • Ensure that all project documentation complies with relevant industry standards and regulations
  • Provide training and support to project team members on document control procedures and systems
