Install Solar Panels Limited is a premium MCS-certified company and proud Octopus Energy Partner, based at 2 Queens Road, Chorley. We specialise in high-quality solar PV installations across residential and commercial properties.
We are looking for a Lead Solar Roofer to take charge of all roofing aspects of solar PV installations. You will lead the roofing team on site, with the majority of work being residential and some commercial projects. All jobs require scaffolding.
- Lead and carry out roofing preparation for solar PV installations on all roof types (concrete, slate, tile, and commercial roofs)
- Work safely at height on scaffolding for the majority of projects
- Carry out roof repairs, flashing, weathering, and making good after installation
- Work closely with the installation team to deliver complete, high-quality solar PV systems
Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in the solar roofing industry (essential)
- Proven experience working on all roof types including concrete, slate, tile, and commercial roofs
- Competent working on scaffolding (most jobs require full scaffolding)
- Full UK driving licence
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to lead a small team on site
- CSCS card (desirable)
