The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.
The purpose of the role is to provide a customer focused installation service ensuring that all technical specifications are adhered to, and all relevant safety checks and safety precautions are carried out in line with company procedures and best practice methods.
The energy efficiency technician will be working in a small but dedicated team, and the scope of the role will encompass a wide variety of responsibilities. You will essentially be the face of the business.

- Install all confirmed booked in work by the planning team.
- Communicate with site supervisor if job description cannot be adhered to.
- Carry out pre & post work inspections and take any necessary action to resolve any highlighted issues.
- Effectively communicate with the customer before, during and after installation making sure they are aware of the installation process and to check they are happy with the job on completion.
- Ensure all relevant paperwork has been completed and signed along with photographic evidence, this is essential.
- Ensure all work is carried out in a safe manner and to a high standard by following best practice procedures.
- Undertake any reasonable task as required by the company.
Essential Skills – Loft Insulation
- Able to deliver exceptional customer service to all customers and contractors.
- Can effectively communicate with colleagues and most importantly customers.
- Must have the drive to ensure that health and safety and quality standards are maintained and where possible improved through strict adherence to policies, procedures and standards.
- Can plan and organise on site work.
- Must be motivated to learn and continually develop expertise.
- Able to demonstrate commitment and drive whilst having flexibility.
- Previous experience working in the insulation industry (strongly preferable).
- Comfortable working in small spaces.
- Minimum NVQ level 2, or CSCS card.
- A satisfactory DBS check.
- Asbestos awareness - This can be part of the onboarding process if required.
- Minimum 2 year clean driving licence.
