The predicted salary is between 40000 - 50000 £ per year.

You will provide road safety, highway, traffic and transport advice and comment on development proposals within the County. As well as advise the public, Members, Parish Councils, developers and their agents regarding planning applications and general enquiries. You will represent the Department at multi-agency meetings to ensure highways/traffic implications are considered. Investigate and respond to planning applications and general enquiries to meet deadlines as well as preparing written reports and supporting senior officers at planning Committees, appeals, hearings and public inquiries.

You should be working towards, or hold a Degree or Incorporated Engineer in civil engineering, transport planning, transport modelling, town planning, or related subject.
