A vacancy has arisen within Business Services for a full-time Contracts Assistant. This is temporary for 18 months initially. WHATS INVOLVED? This is an exciting opportunity to join a team supporting the Building Construction, Repairs and Maintenance team, based at Meadowfield Depot. The duties include:
- Preparing project files for all Construction and Repairs and Maintenance projects ensuring all relevant documentation is included
- Assist with the monthly valuation process to ensure correct costs are assigned to the projects
- Liaising with sub-contractors and operational managers and operatives
- Resolve queries relating to project numbers for timesheets
- Hire of plant and equipment We are looking for an enthusiastic team player who takes pride in providing excellent customer-service. The successful candidate will have good communication skills, be able to work under pressure to tight deadlines and with a high degree of accuracy, be well-organised and flexible, have good IT skills and manage changing priorities. You will also need to be able to work unsupervised using your initiative.
You must have an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
