Position

We are looking for the next generation of Parts Sales Executives to join our sites across the UK through the Volkswagen Group apprenticeship programme. If you have a passion for customer service or a desire to build a career within sales, but don’t know where to start, our apprentice positions could be for you.

Responsibilities & Key Objectives

  • Inbound/Outbound call handling
  • Taking cash and credit card transactions
  • Delivering excellent customer service
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good IT skills
  • Using product knowledge to advise customers
  • Maintenance of accurate paperwork for centre and customer records
  • Efficient processing of customer orders
  • Contributing to the delivery of sales targets

Training Provided

Training will be delivered using a combination of virtual classroom remote learning and face‑to‑face block release weeks at our state‑of‑the‑art training centre. Successful applicants must be prepared to travel to the Volkswagen Group National Learning Centre in Milton Keynes to complete their apprenticeship training. All training‑related costs, including travel, accommodation and meals, are fully covered. Your personal, dedicated mentor will support your continuous learning as you apply the skills and knowledge gained through remote sessions and in the workplace. You will also have the opportunity to attend Outward Bound, a personal development week that supports resilience, confidence and teamwork skills.

Qualifications Received

On successful completion of the 17‑month programme, you will receive:

  • Level 2 Retailer Standard
  • Brand specific certifications
  • Scotland / Wales / Northern Ireland qualifications: Level 2 / Level 5 Customer Service Apprenticeship
  • Brand specific certifications

Qualifications Required

GCSE grades 9–3 (A–D) or equivalent in English, Maths and one other subject, or:

  • BTEC first diplomas and certificates
  • OCR Nationals
  • Key Skills Level 2 NVQs
  • Essential Skills (Wales)
  • Functional Skills Level 2
  • Core Skills (Scotland)

In Scotland, applicants must have or be predicted to achieve Scottish National 5 Grades A–D or above in English, Maths and either a Science or Technical subject.
