We are offering a fantastic opportunity to kickstart your career as an Apprentice ICT Support Technician whilst completing a L3 ICT Apprenticeship Standard. Annual salary of £18k to £21k with 20 days AL.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You will gain exposure to software development, customer support, business intelligence, artificial intelligence technologies, and business IT systems.
Duties Include:
- Software Support
- Support and maintain company-developed software applications.
- Provide first-line support to customers using company software products.
- Investigate, diagnose, and resolve software faults and user issues.
- Escalate complex technical issues where required.
- Assist with software testing, validation, and deployment of new features.
- Document support requests, resolutions, and software updates.
- WordPress & AI Development Support
- Assist with the administration and maintenance of WordPress websites.
- Support ongoing AI software development projects.
- Test new AI tools, workflows, and software enhancements.
- Assist with software improvement projects and user experience enhancements.
- Support implementation of new technologies across the business.
- Reporting & Business Intelligence
- Generate weekly KPI reports for management.
- Produce accurate business performance reports using company systems.
- Analyse operational and software data to support decision-making.
- Assist with the development of reporting dashboards and automated reporting solutions.
- Internal IT Support
- Act as a first point of contact for internal software and IT support.
- Assist employees with hardware, software, printers, mobile devices, and user account issues.
- Configure laptops, desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.
- Support onboarding of new employees and user account setup.
- Assist with software installations, updates, and system maintenance.
- Customer Installations & Support
- Assist with customer software installations and system configuration.
- Deliver remote and on-site support to customers.
- Travel to customer locations when required.
- Build strong customer relationships through professional service and support.
