The Marketing Apprentice role is based in the Business Development Unit, (BDU). The BDU covers the marketing and promotion of Rubber Consultants in order to generate new business opportunities for the organisation and to collaborate with third party organisations to secure public funding for contract research projects.
The Marketing Apprentice will support the functions of the Unit, with particular focus on promoting business growth. In order to fulfil this role it will be necessary to have a good understanding of the work performed in each of the laboratory functions and therefore the time spent with the company will be split between being office based and on occasion, carrying out duties within the Labs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in creating marketing materials, including brochures, presentations and on-line content to promote Consultancy services
- Support the planning and execution of promotional events
- Contribute towards the management of the consultancy’s social media presence and website content
- Assist in analysing market data and performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of social media content and promotional events
- Assist with the monitoring of on-time completion of existing contracts.

- Designing, maintaining and updating websites
- Design and printing of marketing materials
As an apprentice you’ll:
- complete a L3 Multi Channel Marketing apprenticeship standard
- have regular one to one sessions with a dedicated trainer either remotely or through visits to your workplace
- learn and train for a specific job
- get paid and receive holiday leave
- get hands-on experience in a real job
- study for 6 hours of your working hours
- complete assessments during and at the end of your apprenticeship
