Responsibilities:
- Managing stock control of vehicle parts and accessories.
- Ordering, selling, and managing stock to meet the needs of trade counter customers and workshop teams.
- Providing advice to customers experiencing vehicle problems.
- Taking sales orders face‑to‑face and over the phone.
- Maintaining an orderly stock room.
- Raising invoices for parts sold.
- Liaising with internal teams to ensure the correct stock is placed at the right time.
Qualifications:
- GCSE grades 9‑4 (A‑C) or equivalent in English, Maths and one other subject.
- In Scotland: Scottish National 5 Grades A‑C or above in English, Maths and either a Science or Technical subject.
- Equivalent qualifications: BTEC first diplomas and certificates, OCR Nationals, Key Skills Level 2, NVQs, Essential Skills (Wales), Functional Skills Level 2, Core Skills (Scotland).
- Predicted grades are acceptable; conditional offers may be made.
- English and Maths guidance from the government has changed on 11th February 2025, but the entry grade criteria advertised remains in effect.
