Responsibilities:

  • Managing stock control of vehicle parts and accessories.
  • Ordering, selling, and managing stock to meet the needs of trade counter customers and workshop teams.
  • Providing advice to customers experiencing vehicle problems.
  • Taking sales orders face‑to‑face and over the phone.
  • Maintaining an orderly stock room.
  • Raising invoices for parts sold.
  • Liaising with internal teams to ensure the correct stock is placed at the right time.

Qualifications:

  • GCSE grades 9‑4 (A‑C) or equivalent in English, Maths and one other subject.
  • In Scotland: Scottish National 5 Grades A‑C or above in English, Maths and either a Science or Technical subject.
  • Equivalent qualifications: BTEC first diplomas and certificates, OCR Nationals, Key Skills Level 2, NVQs, Essential Skills (Wales), Functional Skills Level 2, Core Skills (Scotland).
  • Predicted grades are acceptable; conditional offers may be made.
  • English and Maths guidance from the government has changed on 11th February 2025, but the entry grade criteria advertised remains in effect.

  • Methodical, with precise attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • IT literacy. (Full training provided.)
  • Enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
