Overview
Our apprenticeship is geared toward training the next generation of fully‑fledged Service Technicians/Mechanics.
Responsibilities
- Service and repair light vehicles such as cars up to 3.5 tonnes.
- Carry out checks and maintenance according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Repair and replace faulty parts and components.
- Advise the Service Receptionists about required repairs.
- Produce time estimates.
- Maintain repair and service records.
Qualifications
- GCSE grades 9 - 4 (A - C) or equivalent in English, Maths and two other subjects.
- In Scotland, Scottish National 5 Grades A - C or above in English, Maths and either a Science or Technical subject.
- Equivalent grades include BTEC first diplomas and certificates, OCR Nationals.
