H6 Marketing is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Digital Marketing Apprentice to join our growing marketing agency.
This is a hands-on role where you'll learn how to manage social media, create content and support digital marketing campaigns for real businesses.
You'll work closely with the H6 team and gradually take on more responsibility as your skills and confidence develop.
What You'll Be Doing
A large part of the role will focus on social media and content creation, including:
- Helping plan monthly social media content
- Creating posts for LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook
- Writing social media captions
- Designing professional graphics in Canva
- Scheduling and publishing content
- Researching clients, industries and content ideas
- Helping monitor and grow client social media accounts
- Reviewing social media performance and analytics
- Supporting email newsletters and campaigns
- Helping create short-form video content
- Editing photos and videos
- Supporting client meetings and content planning
- Learning how marketing supports wider business and sales objectives
You'll work across several client accounts, giving you experience of different businesses, industries and marketing challenges.
This isn't an apprenticeship where you'll spend most of your time watching other people work.
You'll get practical experience across:
Social media • Content creation • Canva • Copywriting • Email marketing • Video • Photography • Analytics • Client management • B2B marketing
You'll receive support and training while gradually becoming responsible for your own areas of client delivery.
As an apprentice you’ll:
- complete a L3 Multi Channel Marketing apprenticeship standard
- have regular one to one sessions with a dedicated trainer
- learn and train for a specific job
- get paid and receive holiday leave
- get hands-on experience in a real job
- study for 6 hours of your working hours
- complete assessments during and at the end of your apprenticeship

The Opportunity
We're looking for someone who wants to build a career in marketing.
As H6 grows, there will be opportunities for the right person to develop into a permanent role and take increasing responsibility for social media, content and client accounts.
The role will be hybrid, so you'll need to be able to travel to Manchester and potentially attend client locations for meetings, photography, filming and content creation.
