We are seeking an enthusiastic, team‑orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Rowe Vets, Yate on a full‑time basis. Part‑time applications will also be considered.

Rowe Vets, Yate is a busy, well‑established 5‑vet practice based just outside Bristol. You’ll be joining a friendly and dedicated team of Veterinary Surgeons, Registered Veterinary Nurses and clinical support colleagues who are committed to delivering high standards of patient and client care. As part of the wider Rowe Veterinary Group, the practice benefits from modern facilities and close links to our busy 24/7 veterinary hospital. This provides excellent clinical support, referral services and opportunities for professional development within a large and supportive veterinary network.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high‑quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences. You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Working Pattern

  • 40 hours per week
  • 8‑hour shifts, Monday to Friday, on a rota basis with a mix of early and late shifts
  • 1 in 6 weekends at the main Rowe hospital, working Saturday and Sunday, with time off in lieu granted the following week
  • Part‑time applications will also be considered

General Responsibilities

  • Deliver high standards of nursing care across a varied first opinion caseload
  • Support surgical procedures, including anaesthesia monitoring and theatre nursing
  • Provide excellent inpatient care and support patient recovery
  • Run and support nurse consultations, promoting preventative healthcare and client education
