Deane Vets are looking for a friendly and motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our supportive and experienced team of 7 RVN's on a 12-month fixed-term contract for maternity cover with the potential to extend.

Who we are: We’re a busy, thriving, well-loved small animal practice with a loyal client base, a friendly supportive and experienced team with a passion for delivering high-quality, compassionate care. Here at Deane Vets we really value the contribution our Nurses make and actively encourage them to use their skills to the fullest potential.

Working Hours / Rota: This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week. Shifts are nine hours long, including a one-hour unpaid lunch break, and fall between 8:00 am and 7:00 pm. There is no weekday out-of-hours requirement. Weekend duty cover is required, with daytime weekend shifts on Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm on a 1-in-8 rota, and time off in lieu (TOIL) is given as a paid day the following week. Additionally, the role requires working every other Saturday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, with TOIL provided in the week before.

Work-life Balance: 6.6 weeks annual leave, inclusive of bank holidays pro rata. Increasing holiday allowance based on length of service. Your birthday as a paid day off.
