Registered Veterinary Nurse
We are seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join North Weald Vets on a full‑time or part‑time basis.

- Join a team of 4 Veterinary Surgeons, 4 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 Receptionists and 1 Veterinary Care Assistant
- Well‑equipped practice with modern facilities, including a new dental X‑ray machine
- Wide range of procedures performed in‑house
How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high‑quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.
You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first‑opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.
Working Pattern
- 40‑hour week, Monday to Friday
- 8‑hour shifts, either 8:00 am–4:00 pm or 11:00 am–7:00 pm
- 1 in 3 Saturday mornings, 8:00 am–1:00 pm
- Part‑time applications welcomed
General Responsibilities
This is a varied and hands‑on nursing role where you’ll rotate across different areas of the practice, including:
- Theatre and surgical support
- Inpatient care
- Nurse consultations
- Diagnostic procedures
- Client communication and reception support
You Might Be a Great Fit If…
- Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS
- Experience working in clinical practice, with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues

Salary: Up to £31,000 per annum, depending on experience.
