We are seeking an enthusiastic, team‑orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Plymouth Vets on a part‑time basis of up to 28 hours a week. With a total of 4 sites, Plymouth vets offers quality care for pets 24/7 with a team of 10 vets who are supported by a great team of nurses and support staff. As a training practice, Plymouth prides itself in fostering a learning culture ensuring both vets and nurses can reach their full potential. The new Hospital enables the expansion of standard first‑opinion work with multiple consult rooms, wards and theatres as well as referral services within Plymouth. The introduction of CT is exciting and offers opportunities for RVN's to develop their skills further.
How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high‑quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences. You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first‑opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice. This position is working part time of 28 hours a week, with a rota pattern to cover evenings and weekends as required. General responsibilities include working with the surgical team, inpatient care, nurse clinics or within the emergency team working out of hours.
