We are looking to recruit an RVN to join our wonderful team at Rosehill Vets on a part time basis. We take pride in delivering and maintaining the high standard of care our practice is known for. As an RCVS Tier 2 accredited nurse training practice, we are committed to supporting the progression of our team members.
How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences. You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice. This is a part‑time role, working 32 hours per week with varied duties including nurse consultations and ops support. RVNs work a 4‑week rotating schedule (3 early shifts and 1 afternoon/evening shift) and 1:4 Saturday from 9am‑2pm. No out‑of‑hours work required.
The day‑to‑day duties will include:
- Assisting our Veterinary Surgeons in theatre and consultations
- Responsibility for inpatient care
- Assisting with patient admits and discharges
- Carrying out nurse consultations
