Tower Vet Centre is looking for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and supportive team on a fixed-term maternity cover contract. How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work as part of a collaborative and highly skilled team, delivering exceptional patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload. You’ll have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills, work up cases to a high standard, and contribute to a positive clinical culture where learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement are valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality medical and surgical care across a varied small animal caseload
- Manage a balanced mix of consultations, diagnostics, medical workups, and surgical procedures
- Build strong relationships with clients through excellent communication and continuity of care
- Work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons, nurses, and support colleagues
- Contribute to clinical discussions, case reviews, and shared learning across the team
- Support high standards of patient care and clinical excellence throughout the practice
Working Pattern
- Fixed-term maternity cover contract
- 40 hours per week
- Flexible rota worked across 4.5 days
- Shifts scheduled between 8:30am and 7:30pm Monday to Friday
- 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (9am-1pm)
- Structured rota designed to support a healthy work-life balance
