We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our full‑time team at New Malden Vets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high‑quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.
  • Collaborate with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for nursing care of first‑opinion cases.
  • Contribute to clinical standards and support the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.
  • Manage a diverse schedule (40 hours per week with rotating shifts, including weekend rota).
  • Perform consultations, pharmacy duties, inpatient care, anaesthetic monitoring, Stage 1 dentals, and imaging.
  • Maintain minimal administrative tasks with support from the reception team.

Qualifications

  • Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS.
  • Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Good organisational skills and capacity to manage workload effectively.
  • Proactive approach to learning, reflection, and continuous improvement.
