Financial Package

Position Summary
Lead Veterinary Surgeon – working alongside the Practice Director to lead the clinical team at The Oak Veterinary Group in Pembrokeshire, West Wales.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the clinical team alongside the Practice Director
- Deliver high‑quality patient care across consultations and surgery
- Mentor and support less experienced Veterinary Surgeons through case discussions and clinical development
- Help drive clinical standards, team engagement and a positive practice culture
- Contribute to business performance, operational success and sustainable practice growth
- Working Pattern
- Full‑time, 37.5 hours per week
- Shifts between 8:00 am and 7:00 pm Monday‑Friday on a rota basis
- Saturday mornings (8:30 am‑1:30 pm) on a rotational basis
- Primarily based in Haverfordwest with rotation across branch sites
- Fit for Role
You are an experienced Veterinary Surgeon with strong clinical expertise who enjoys leading others while continuing to deliver exceptional patient care. You'll bring:
- A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS
- Experience in a clinical practice with confidence in medical and surgical cases
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues
- Leadership or mentoring experience, with a passion for supporting and developing others
- Professionalism, reliability and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
