We are seeking an experienced, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Wigmore Vets on a full-time basis.
Wigmore Vets is located in the lovely residential area of Wigmore, Rainham, Kent.
We are a well-established practice with a large, loyal client base and a busy caseload that provides plenty of variety every day.
Our well-equipped surgery includes an in-house laboratory and digital X-ray facilities, providing excellent clinical exposure.

You'll be joining an experienced team of 2 Veterinary Surgeons, 11 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Kennel Assistant and 5 Receptionists.

How You'll Make a Difference
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.
You'll work collaboratively with Veterinary Surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.
- Working Pattern
- 4 days per week, Monday to Friday, between 8:30am and 6:30pm
- 2 in 4 Saturday mornings, working 8:30am-12:00pm
- General Responsibilities
- Assisting with surgery and anaesthesia
- Ultrasound and diagnostic imaging
- Laboratory work
- Dental nursing
- Inpatient care
- Client communication
- Nurse consultations
- Triage, including working under the direction of a Veterinary Surgeon, managing emergency calls, client follow-up, medication queries and communicating blood results
