Portchester Vets has been proudly serving the local community for over a decade, building a reputation for exceptional patient care, strong client relationships and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. We are now looking for a confident and personable Veterinary Surgeon to join our close-knit team. The caseload is predominantly cats and dogs, with occasional rabbits. You'll handle consultations, medical work-ups and surgery, while also being encouraged to investigate and manage cases using modern diagnostic equipment.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Primary Care Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload. You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.

Working Pattern

  • Full-time role of 38 hours across four days
  • 1 in 3 Saturday mornings from 9:00 am-12:00 pm
  • No out-of-hours requirements
  • No on-call commitment
  • Part-time applications welcomed
