Salary: Up to £80,000 (DOE). Relocation support: up to £5,000. Welcome bonus: up to £5,000. Working hours: Full‑time – 40 hours per week over four days plus 1:4 Saturdays from 08:30 to 13:00. No out‑of‑hours or on‑call duties. Part‑time hours can be accommodated.

De Montfort Veterinary Hospital is an RCVS‑accredited practice located in the growing market town of Evesham. The team consists of 4 full‑time vets, 8 full‑time RVNs and 1 SVN, supported by an outstanding support team. The hospital is also a veterinary nurse training centre, an ISFM Cat‑Friendly Clinic (Gold Award), and offers a wide range of modern equipment including digital X‑ray, dental X‑ray, advanced ultrasound, endoscopy, and an in‑house IDEXX laboratory.

As a Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll collaborate with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload. You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests, share your knowledge with colleagues, and contribute positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.

Candidate Profile

  • Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS
  • Experience working in clinical practice with confidence in routine medical and surgical cases
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Proactive approach to learning, openness to feedback and development
  • Professionalism, reliability, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
