Lockwood Vets, Hednesford, a proud member of the inspiring vet care network, is currently looking for a qualified veterinary surgeon to join our team on a permanent basis. The role is ideal for an experienced clinician who can work a sole charge, helping shape the future of the Hednesford practice.
How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Veterinary Surgeon, you will work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied caseload. You will continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing knowledge with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. Daily duties include 15‑minute consultations, a range of surgical procedures such as neutering, dentistry, and diagnostic investigations. You will manage up to 18 appointments per day and one scheduled operation, with flexibility for emergencies.
A Flexible Role
Full or part‑time hours are accommodated. The role does not require on‑call, out‑of‑hours work or significant Saturday cover.
About Lockwood Hednesford
The team consists of four RVNs and one experienced vet. The site is equipped with digital X‑ray facilities, two consulting rooms, a separate theatre, and an ultrasound scanner.
