We are seeking an enthusiastic, team‑orientated OOH Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at New Priory Vets on a part‑time basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated PETS out‑of‑hours service at our flagship hospital in central Brighton.

We are proud to provide our own out‑of‑hours service, ensuring continuity of care for our patients while supporting local clinics overnight.

Our Brighton hospital offers a full range of first‑opinion services, including medicine, surgery, CT, ultrasound, radiography, dentistry and nurse clinics, with the added support of on‑site referral specialists.

You'll work alongside a collaborative team committed to delivering outstanding patient and client care.

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high‑quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first‑opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

  • Working Pattern
  • 33 hours per week
  • Night shifts on a rolling rota between 4:30pm‑1:00am and 10:00pm‑9:00am

  • Deliver high‑quality nursing care during overnight shifts
  • Work confidently as the sole‑charge nurse when required
  • Support routine and complex surgical cases
  • Provide emergency and critical care nursing
