We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Bath Vets - Rosemary Lodge Hospital on a part-time basis. Located in the stunning city of Bath, Rosemary Lodge is a long-established Tier 3 veterinary hospital equipped with state‑of‑the‑art facilities, including on‑site MRI, CT, digital X‑ray, dental X‑ray, and in‑house diagnostic capabilities. We take pride in fostering a friendly and supportive working environment with a strong emphasis on staff wellbeing. Our team is actively encouraged to enhance their skills and knowledge through in‑house training and CPD opportunities.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction. You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non‑clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey. This is a part‑time role, working at all Bath Vets sites – an average of 24 hours per week.

General responsibilities include:

  • Meeting and greeting clients
  • Booking appointments
  • Dealing with any queries
  • Taking payments
  • Dispensing medication
  • Interacting with customers
