You will support the clinical team in delivering high standards of patient and client care, ensuring the practice runs smoothly and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the nursing team with the setup of surgical procedures
- Hold patients for the veterinarian or registered veterinary nurse
- Clean down clinical areas
- Manage supplies and restock items
- Clean and package sterile equipment and theatre attire
- Handle laundry and maintain organisation
- Manage cats in our Radioactive Iodine Unit (full training will be provided)
- Cover shifts on reception and in our Boarding Cattery

- Reliable and motivated individual who enjoys working as part of a team
- Approaches with a caring, professional attitude and genuine interest in animal welfare
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues and clients
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities in a busy environment
- Proactive attitude to learning and openness to feedback and development
- Experience working with animals in a clinical or non‑clinical setting would be advantageous
