We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to support a lovely SEN school in the Dartford area. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside teachers to support pupils in the classroom, helping to create a positive, safe and engaging learning environment. You may work with individual pupils, small groups or support the wider class.
Key Responsibilities: Supporting the class teacher with daily classroom activities Working one-to-one with pupils or in small groups Helping pupils with their learning, development and confidence Supporting children with additional needs, including SEND Encouraging positive behaviour and participation Assisting with classroom preparation and resources Helping to maintain a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment Building positive relationships with pupils, teachers and school staff Working Hours: The standard working day is
8:30am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday , during term time.
What We're Looking For: We are looking for someone who is:
Passionate about working with children and young people Patient, caring and enthusiastic Able to communicate effectively with pupils and staff Reliable, adaptable and able to work as part of a team Comfortable supporting pupils with a range of abilities and needs
Previous experience working with children, in schools, nurseries, youth work or similar settings would be beneficial, but we welcome applications from candidates who are looking to begin a career in education.
