Are you an analytical graduate who is comfortable working with data? Do you enjoy identifying trends and are comfortable with the daily use of Excel and Python? Do you want to build a career in Programmatic Media and work for an independent Advertising Agency?
We are looking for a highly organised, curious and detail-orientated Programmatic Operations Executive to support the planning, activation, optimisation and reporting of programmatic campaigns across our client accounts. This is an entry-level role designed for someone who wants to build a strong foundation in programmatic media, ad operations and digital trading, while gradually developing into a more strategic and commercially minded practitioner.
The role will begin with carrying out day-to-day operational tasks that keep campaigns running smoothly, including setup, QA, pacing checks, reporting and troubleshooting. As confidence and capability grow, the Programmatic Operations Executive will contribute to optimisations, insight generation, strategic planning support and product development initiatives that improve our programmatic offering.
Key Responsibilities- Support the setup and launch of programmatic campaigns across relevant platforms and channels, including display, online video, audio, CTV and digital out-of-home where applicable.
- Pull weekly campaign reports for client campaigns and provide insights.
- Support the team in making basic optimisations such as bid adjustments.
- Work closely with the client service director to ensure campaigns are activated and managed in line with client objectives and media plan goals.
- Develop a growing understanding of how programmatic fits within a broader omnichannel media strategy and client business objectives.
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy.
- Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- An interest in digital media, advertising technology and programmatic trading.
- Comfortable working with data, spreadsheets and performance reports.
- Analytical mindset with a willingness to learn how to turn data into action.
- Clear communication skills and confidence working with different teams and stakeholders.
- Proactive attitude, curiosity and a desire to develop technical and strategic skills.
- Basic understanding of digital campaign metrics, ad serving or media buying is beneficial but not essential.
- Experience using DSPs is advantageous but will be developed on the job.
- Campaigns are launched accurately, on time and with minimal errors.
- Daily pacing, reporting and campaign checks are completed consistently and proactively.
- Issues are identified early and communicated clearly.
- Reporting and analysis are reliable, useful and action-oriented.
- The role develops from operational support into a trusted contributor to optimisation, strategy and innovation.
- The individual becomes a valuable part of our wider programmatic growth and product evolution.
This role is designed to provide a clear progression path from campaign support and operational excellence into more independent trading, optimisation, client communication, strategic planning support and product innovation. Over time, the Programmatic Operations Executive should build the knowledge and confidence to take on greater ownership of accounts, contribute to business growth and help shape how our programmatic offering evolves.
