Our established solutions provider client is looking for an experienced sales manager as well as graduates to join them. You must be a positive driven and results orientated individual, confident in building long term client relationships and driving sales growth, with an interest in the software or technology sector.
About the role: The Sales Manager for the UK & MENA will handle overall responsibility for promotional and marketing plans in order to deliver sales and represent the brand internationally. The role's purpose will be to grow revenue through effective distributor management, market expansion, and development of new business opportunities. Additionally, you will deliver high-value training and consultancy services in data science, econometrics, qualitative & quantitative research, and forecasting, helping clients and distributor partners build analytical, commercial, and market insights capabilities.
The role will require that you are responsible for building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key customers, driving sales growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction. It involves managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing, as well as post-sale activities to guarantee continued success. The successful candidate will be based in our office in Kew Gardens and will travel regularly to the Middle East, USA, and around the UK to conduct customer and new business meetings, attend customer events, and relevant conferences.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage relationships with key accounts and strategic target accounts.
- Serve as primary point of contact for key accounts, regularly meeting in person and virtually.
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets.
- Organise demos with customers, prospecting to potential accounts and promotional plans, identify and pitch for new business and opportunities.
- Identify opportunities for account expansion and upsell additional products, licenses, and services (i.e., training).
- Be the Ambassador and source of knowledge of our product to the outside world, being able to clearly, concisely, and credibly articulate the product to consumers or partners.
- Produce detailed reports on distributor performance, market trends, and sales forecasting.
- Use analytical tools to identify performance gaps and growth opportunities.
- Present insights and recommendations to senior management and clients.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Travel to territories once every two months to conduct in-person meetings with existing and prospective customers, attend events.
- Organise and run quarterly in-person events per territory for users and purchasers to promote software and our brand.
- Work alongside the team to develop promotional plans and communicate with all software.
- Assist with the Sales and Marketing of new Software releases.
- Create and deliver presentations and proposals to clients, highlighting the value and ROI of our software solutions.
- Lead and manage the end-to-end sales process for key accounts, from initial discovery to contract negotiation and closing.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities, ensuring timely follow-ups and accurate forecasting.
- Organise and participate in industry events, webinars, and networking opportunities.
- Track and analyse sales performance, reporting monthly on sales activities, figures, and strategy to software developers and business directors.
Experience & Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, with a focus on key account management, preferably in the software or technology sector.
- Proven success in managing and growing large, complex accounts.
- Experience selling enterprise software solutions, SaaS (Software as a Service), or technology products is a plus.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are imperative.
- Excellent written and spoken skills in English; other languages advantageous.
- Senior organisational and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand customer pain points and tailor software solutions accordingly.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Deep understanding of sales methodologies and Salesforce software desirable.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter and confident.
- Ability to travel as required to the Middle East, USA, and around the UK to meet with clients and attend industry events.
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to sales.
