We're looking for a Publisher Services Executive to support our web and app publisher partners across both direct-sold and programmatic supply. You'll help manage bookings, campaign trafficking, and tag implementation, while building the relationship and commercial skills to grow into a full publisher management role.
This is a great entry point into digital ad operations — you'll get hands-on exposure to both the technical side of running campaigns and the commercial side of managing publisher partners, across web and in-app inventory. You will learn and develop in using systems, mainly the GAM ad server, so you are able to send tags out to publishers, set up reports in the platform and identify discrepancies, etc.
Key Responsibilities
- Publisher Relationship Support
- Act as day-to-day contact for a portfolio of web and app publisher partners, supporting the Publisher Services Manager on account management
- Help maintain strong working relationships with publishers to support supply quality and availability
- Assist with regular check-ins and performance reviews with publisher partners
- Campaign Bookings & Ad Operations
- Manage the booking process for campaigns across both direct and programmatic publisher inventory, on web and in-app
- Traffic campaigns and send/implement ad tags, ensuring correct setup and timely go-live
- QA tags and creative before launch; flag and help troubleshoot delivery, tracking, or discrepancy issues
- Monitor live campaign pacing and delivery, escalating under-delivery or technical issues where needed
- Commercial Support
- Support rate and terms discussions with publishers, gaining exposure to negotiation and deal structuring
- Help maintain and track rate cards, floor prices, and deal terms across the portfolio
- Assist with drafting and processing insertion orders and publisher agreements
- Reporting & Process
- Keep accurate records of bookings, discrepancies, and campaign performance
- Support regular reporting on supply performance and fill rates for internal stakeholders
- Help identify and implement improvements to the booking-to-billing workflow
What You'll Bring
- A strong interest or exposure to: ad operations, publisher/supply management, or trafficking in digital advertising
- Prepared to learn and gain hands-on experience with ad servers and tag management tools (e.g. GAM, Xandr, or similar)
- Comfortable with numbers and keen to develop commercial/negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail — happy to check tags, spot discrepancies, and follow processes carefully
- Good communication skills; confident building relationships with external partners
- Organised and able to juggle multiple bookings and campaigns at once
- Comfortable working in spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets)
Nice to Have
- Exposure to both web and in-app/mobile advertising
- Familiarity with programmatic concepts — header bidding, waterfalls, PMPs
- A degree or coursework in marketing, business, media, or a related field
What We Offer
- Salary circa £25,000 – £27,000, depending on experience
- Flexible/hybrid working
- Structured progression into a full Publisher Services Manager role
