Are you a dynamic Product Owner with experience across e-commerce, gaming, or prize draw sites? Would you like to work onsite for a major UK broadcaster, developing their online competitions portal, driving retention and ARPU through a slick UX? You will act as the key liaison between their team and our development and delivery team in Poland.

We are looking for a Digital Product Owner to take full responsibility for the development and evolution of our Competitions Portal. You will own the product roadmap, working closely with our development team to scope, build, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. With a strong focus on customer engagement and data-driven decision-making, you will optimise the platform for both short and long-term growth.

About the Product / Platform

Our product is the online competitions platform for one of the leading media & entertainment groups. Hosting some of the UK’s biggest prize draws and exclusive competitions, promoted on-air and syndicated across the UK’s biggest radio brands. Our goal is to create a seamless, engaging, and best-in-class experience for our customers to enter (and win) while maximising retention and spend.

About the Client

We are a small, swiftly developing IT company focused on helping British commercial TV and radio stations succeed in engaging with their audiences. This role will be based onsite with our major broadcasting client.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and own the product roadmap for our platform.
  • Prioritise development initiatives based on customer insights, data, and business goals.
  • Establish success metrics and communicate priorities across teams.

Execution & Delivery (30%)

  • Collaborate with the development team to scope, build, and launch new features.
  • Own the product backlog, ensuring smooth prioritisation and alignment with business objectives.
  • Test and refine releases to maintain the highest standards of quality and usability.

User Experience & Data-Driven Decision Making (30%)

  • Champion the customer experience, leveraging UX best practices to improve engagement and retention.
  • Use data and analytics to identify opportunities for optimisation.
  • Balance commercial objectives with user needs to drive sustainable growth.

  • Experience in a Product Owner role within e-commerce, gaming, or prize draw sites.
  • Strong UX instincts with the ability to create intuitive, engaging customer journeys.
  • Data-driven mindset—comfortable using analytics to inform product decisions.
  • Ability to 'talk techie' and translate complex development concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to innovate and think independently.
  • Comfortable working at pace and managing competing and changing priorities.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in an agile environment.
  • Experience working with Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
  • An understanding of competitions/prize draws and consumer engagement strategies is a big bonus.
