This role, located in the heart of Leeds City Centre, offers the opportunity to build a career in International Executive Search, working with senior leaders and businesses around the world.

About the Client: We are a specialist retained executive search firm focused on the international fresh produce industry. Our clients range from international farming operations and export businesses through to investment-backed platforms, and we help them hire the senior leaders responsible for running and scaling those organisations. We have executed searches across 22 countries internationally and work with clients throughout Europe, the United States, Latin America, Africa and Asia-Pacific.

Alongside executive search, we also deliver competitor and market mapping projects, compensation and benefits benchmarking studies, organisational and succession insight work, and strategic talent advisory support.

The role of the Delivery Consultant: Reporting to the Head of Delivery, this is a critical role. You will work as part of the delivery function to deliver retained searches globally and assist candidates in finding new positions through candidate marketing. The core position will be focused on managing the full retained project from briefing meeting to offer, managing all client contact, candidate interviews and assisting the business development head with candidate marketing. We would love to employ someone who has the confidence and gravitas to learn how to manage entire retained projects from start to finish, with a goal of becoming client-facing in 12-24 months.

You will work closely with the CEO and collaborate with our Head of Delivery and research team, gaining hands-on experience in both business development and executive search.

How to know if this role is for you? You will love interviewing candidates and are naturally inquisitive. You have fantastic attention to detail and love doing research. You are not afraid of interviewing candidates who speak English as a second language and may not be completely fluent. You are happy to work early/late if needed to accommodate different time zones. You enjoy working to a set of steps and processes, and are good at following procedures. You pride yourself on your communication skills, responding to candidates in a timely manner, and are not known for ghosting people or ignoring phone calls or emails. You work at pace and see efficiency as a priority, whilst not compromising quality.

Requirements:

  • Graduate level
  • A good communicator, highly articulate
  • Able to manage a busy workload, which can be overwhelming at times
  • Highly organised and efficient
  • Super flexible with everything, workload, working hours etc.
  • An interest in working in an informal, non-corporate industry (think agriculture, farmers)
  • Excellent English language, both written and spoken
  • High attention to detail
  • Not afraid of working towards a set of KPIs / goals
  • Always focused on the final goal
