The Role: Project Assistant - Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E) Purchasing
Job Brief: You will be responsible for providing administrative and purchasing support to the project managers and wider team in order to assist in the successful delivery of project information. You will communicate by email, phone and in person during meetings and will ensure all your tasks are delivered in a professional, accurate and timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and schedule meetings
- Maintain contact with suppliers using telephone and email
- Issue information to suppliers to acquire quotations
- Budget building and maintenance
- Analysis of quotations
- Supplier negotiations
- Generating purchase orders using bespoke software
- Ensuring purchase order approval
- Maintain and update expediting lists
- Contacting suppliers and collating Operating and Maintenance manual information
- Attending supplier events as required
- General office administration tasks
Requirements:
- Educated to degree level
- Experience in a relevant role / industry
- Well organised
- Ability to manage complex tasks with multiple requirements
- Good writing and communication skills
- Numerate
- Resourceful and self-sufficient
- Confident and enthusiastic
- Strong computer skills, particularly with MS Office (Excel / Word / PowerPoint / Outlook)
