Salary: £14 per hour
Location: Hybrid, Central London (4 days in office)
About The Company:
We are a fast-growing advertising technology company helping brands and media agencies reach consumers across new digital discovery and commerce environments.
About The Role:
This is a hands-on pre-sales and business development role, working closely with the SVP Agency Partnerships to help grow the company’s relationships with UK media agencies. A large part of the role will focus on identifying relevant agencies, prospective clients and key decision-makers, and helping secure qualified meetings.
Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Researching media agencies, brands and key industry contacts
- Identifying the right decision-makers within target organisations
- Running and managing outreach campaigns using tools such as Linked-In, HubSpot, Alfred and email
- Writing and personalising outreach messages
- Following up with prospects and helping convert conversations into qualified meetings
- Managing prospect lists, CRM data and meeting pipelines
- Helping prepare presentations, pitch decks and sales materials
- Learning and using the internal sales and marketing systems
- Supporting meeting preparation and follow-up
- Helping keep the overall agency sales process organised and moving forward
The role will provide exposure to the full business development process, from identifying a prospect through to pitching an advertising solution to a major agency or brand.
About You:
We are looking for someone bright, highly organised and ambitious who is comfortable taking initiative and getting things done.
The ideal candidate will be:
- From a top university with a minimum 2.1
- Extremely efficient and organised, with strong attention to detail
- Confident and articulate, both verbally and in writing
- Comfortable reaching out to new people and following up persistently
- Tech-savvy and quick to learn new platforms and systems
- Interested in advertising, media, technology and/or business development
- Comfortable working at pace and managing several priorities at once
- Proactive rather than waiting to be told what to do
- Professional and comfortable communicating with senior people
- A strong user of PowerPoint/Google Slides and Excel/Google Sheets, or keen to learn quickly
Previous experience in advertising or sales is not essential. Attitude, organisation, communication skills and a willingness to learn are more important.
The Perks:
- This is an opportunity to gain genuine commercial experience rather than simply observing from the sidelines.
- You will work directly with an experienced advertising executive and gain first-hand exposure to agency sales, business development, advertising technology and the rapidly evolving world of digital media and AI.
- You will learn how to identify commercial opportunities, approach senior decision-makers, use professional sales technology, build client presentations and understand how advertising deals progress from initial prospecting through to a live campaign.
- The role is based in our London office four days per week, providing plenty of opportunity to learn directly from the team and become part of a fast-moving international business.
