This a 12 month Maternity Cover contract

This role is to work with the Accounts Team and the Project Teams to ensure the smooth running and reporting of the Client related project accounts.
The role is diverse and the ability to multitask is essential. The role would suit a candidate looking to gain experience managing people, whilst continuing their work as a Project Accountant.
The main duties are as below, and salary will be dependent upon experience.
Duties :
Project Accounting
β€’ Reviewing project workload with Accounts Team and ensuring that each project is correctly resourced
β€’ Reviewing Projects with Project Team to prioritise workload within Accounts Team
β€’ Managing ad-hoc payments to suppliers related to the Business
β€’ Validating all payment requests against purchase orders/contract terms
β€’ Raising queries with Project Managers and assisting with rectification
β€’ Entering project payments and receipts onto the finance system
β€’ Ensure all payments are made correctly and on time
β€’ Creating bank reconciliations for both UK and foreign currency accounts
β€’ Prepare weekly, monthly and annual cash flow reports
β€’ Accurately monitor all transactions within our custom software system
β€’ Create summary reports for all transactions within Excel spreadsheets
β€’ Collate accurate invoices from suppliers for all transactions
β€’ Monitor and collate invoices, prepare spreadsheets as required for non-project accounting clients
β€’ Ensure Client accounts are fully funded based on future months’ transactions
β€’ Monthly excel reports including reconciliations of budgets
