About the role:

The Digital Marketing Executive will play a pivotal role in driving brand awareness, fame, and ultimately business growth alongside the New Business team. This individual will be responsible for the agency’s digital presence and online activity. You will work closely with our MD to plan, lead and deliver the marcoms and wider marketing strategy. This role sits in the Business Development & Marketing department, reporting to the Managing Director with one direct report (New Partnerships Manager).

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and own the marketing strategy for the entire year
  • Capture and create content for digital campaigns
  • Manage digital assets (photography, video, animation, etc.)
  • Build sales literature and presentations in line with brand guidelines
  • Create blog and white-paper content
  • Manage Instagram and LinkedIn (and pitch newly relevant social platforms)
  • Update and manage the website monthly
  • Generate email marketing campaigns, newsletters and other internal copywriting as required
  • Monitor emerging trends and competitor activity, industry news and build reports to educate the team and inspire campaigns
  • Pitch new ideas for marketing campaigns to the marcoms team
  • Research, brief and collaborate with creatives (graphic designers, photographers, stylists, videographers etc) to build exciting content
  • Compile Marcoms KPI reports
  • Plan and manage the social media calendar with a focus on building a following, amplifying the brand and promoting our industry expertise

What we are looking for:

  • A highly energetic and enthusiastic individual who has the proven ability to reach B2B & B2C audiences
  • A proven track record of success in developing marketing strategies and promoting solution-driven products and services that an events agency can offer
  • Relishes working at pace and being used to jumping on new opportunities as they arise
  • Demonstrate experience of using a CRM and the ability to analyse data
  • Experience using CMS platform to update website content
  • Great presentation skills and confident speaking to external contacts
  • Ability to manage a range of freelancers - from photographers and videographers, to website developers and designers
  • A strategic mindset with experience working with a wide range of marketing channels
  • A confident and professional communicator passionate about marketing
  • Keen to build an array of client, PR and event industry contacts
  • A strong team player who can confidently lead internal projects
  • The ability to be agile and adapt to the ever-changing landscape of events and experiential

The following skills are essential:

  • Google Workspace, Google Meets
  • Social media platform and content creation skills (LinkedIn, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Instagram)
  • CMS experience (Craft CMS or similar platforms)
  • Website analytics tools (such Google Analytics and Hotjar)
  • CRM experience (Pipedrive or similar platforms)

  • Extra day holiday per year of commitment (up to 5 years)
