The Role and Responsibilities
We’re looking for a switched on, eager to learn graduate, to join as a Sales intern – initially for 6 months with the potential of becoming permanent. You’ll be forming a bridge between marketing and sales, supporting our teams across Japan, America, France and Germany.
A really interesting role, where you\’ll focus on researching a number of select clients, understanding what they do and the problems they need solving – helping to build a profile for the sales team. You\’ll also work alongside the marketing team to help them on who to target and on building their campaigns.
Day to day tasks include:
- Outbound calling of prospective (warm) customers to gather intel and qualify potential leads for sales to follow.
- Work with the sales team to target key accounts, determining where to focus effort.
- Help to build templates, scripts, and reporting processes to improve efficiency and ease of effort.
- Research customers on the internet and other sources to capture info/intel.
- Build/maintain data on potential customers to capture knowledge.
- Lead follow up.
- Assist with other sales efforts as necessary.
The ideal intern’s personality and qualifications:
- Educated to degree level – STEM type degrees would be a bonus, but we’re open to any discipline.
- Interest in technology and an eagerness to work in sales.
- Enthusiastic, energetic, and hungry – not afraid to pick up the phone.
- Driven and self-motivated.
- Charismatic, articulate, and well-presented.
- Comfortable working autonomously, being self-driven, in a high-tech environment.
- Project confidence and positive energy.
- Ability to talk other languages is a bonus!
