Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to grow revenue and market share within the assigned territory.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with retailers, wholesalers, restaurants, and food service providers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular customer visits, provide product knowledge, and offer tailored solutions based on customer needs.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including logistics and operations, to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Provide accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback to management.

Person Specification

  • Previous experience working with retailers or food service providers – required
  • Previous experience with pricing strategies and seasonal trends in fresh produce sales – required
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the fresh produce, food, or FMCG industry.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritise tasks.
  • A passion for fresh produce and knowledge of industry trends.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CRM software.

Compensation details

  • Salary of Β£28-32,000 per year with commission structure (salary negotiable – depending on experience)

Hybrid Role (office based 1-2 days per week)

Working Hours :

We are open 7 days a week and this role will involve you working 5 days a week.

Monday – Friday / 08 : 30 – 17 : 00 (some flexibility required).

Wholegood is based in a Warehouse in Greenford, West London.
