Who you are:

  • Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive, or similar
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques including cold calling; proficient in LinkedIn, Apollo, CRM, G-suite, and Office
  • Demonstrated success in prospecting
  • Extremely self-motivated with a diligent work ethic
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a distributed sales team
  • Strong professional communication skills - listening, written, verbal, and presentation skills with a friendly and energetic phone presence
  • Aptitude for self-managing time while achieving objectives
  • Promotes a strong sense of urgency for reaching goals and objectives. Acts proactively and brings new ideas to the table.
  • Low-ego team player with drive, grit, and a strong desire to compete and win
  • High level of integrity and a strong commitment to building a successful company
  • Degree preferred, but not essential

What the job involves:

  • Identifying and generating sales opportunities through inbound and outbound activities
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Develop and test new sales strategies to attract potential customers
  • Create robust relationships with potential customers to identify their needs, qualify their interests, and prioritize their viability
  • Follow-up on inbound marketing leads and qualify them accordingly
  • Educate and develop prospects leading to a successful handoff to sales teams
  • Create target prospect lists and penetrate key accounts. Profile strategic accounts and identify key players and research their business requirements
  • Nurture new leads by educating and developing prospects until they are ready to speak with a salesperson
  • Maintain a self-starter attitude while creating and executing outreach strategies with the sales team
  • Be the first point of contact for new business prospects and determine next steps for each prospect
  • Establish active communication and engagement with prospects to create new leads and sales opportunities
  • Stay up to date with new technology developments, pricing strategies, and product information
  • Ensure successful follow-through of the sales cycle and maintain accurate and timely information in the CRM system
