Web Design Summer Intern

This is a 3 month summer Internship, paying £120 per day based in Westminster. The role will be Hybrid with 3days minimum in the London office, based in Westminster.

Our client is a boutique Asset Management firm based in Westminsterspecialising in long-only equity funds and private equity investments.Established 20 years ago, responsible, ethical investing is core to their business.

The Role:
You will be joining the digital side of the marketing team. We are offering an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic & creative Web Designer to join our in-house digital team. The ideal candidate will be creative, motivated, and have experience in web design. Your primary focus will be working with the digital team to come up with designs/concepts for a redesign of our main site, taking them from the initial design brief through to wireframing, design, and build. Collaboration is key, and you will work closely with our outsourced web developer, in-house team, and wider teams across the Marketing department.

As the web design Intern you will;

• Collaborate as part of an in-house digital team while reporting to the head of digital
• Conceptulise, design and build components and templates, landing pages, and general web page layouts.
• Develop a new look and feel while incorporating their current campaign and brand guidelines.
• Generate innovative ideas and concepts that are accurate and of high quality.
• Identify opportunities to optimise web pages based on data insights.

About You:

• It is essential to be an expert inFigma, with the ability to demonstrate expertise through previously completed projects or a portfolio.
• Knowledge ofUX/UIprinciples.
• You must have a portfolio showcasing your design skills
• Strong communication, self-starter.
• Degree in Web Design/Graphics Design or equivalent experience.
• A creative and proactive mindset, with a passion for web design.
