Are you a self-motivated, reliable, a great communicator with a strong interest in the hair & beauty sector? Our client is looking for a Sales Development Representative. You will be required to work 2-3 days from the Tunbridge Wells office.
About the Company: We are a team of 30 who are passionate about supporting the Salon Industry, comprising Hair, Beauty, Barbers, Clinics & Aesthetics. As an established salon software company, we work with the leading brands and groups in the UK, supporting over 2500 salons. Our products include salon management software (CRM), Booking Apps and payment processing. Our team has extensive knowledge of salon software and industry experience, making us the standout choice for prospects and our clients.
Our intelligent Salon Software was created to help salon people achieve what is perceived to be impossible when it comes to building and growing a salon business. While the owner is busy looking after their salon clients, the software gets more of them, spending more, more often. The only all-in-one sales, marketing and management software built for salons. The office is based in Tunbridge Wells and currently employs 25+ staff.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation
- Conduct outbound prospecting to generate new leads.
- Qualify inbound leads through effective communication and understanding of customer needs.
- Research target companies and decision-makers to identify potential opportunities.
- Develop a deep understanding of the company’s products/services to effectively communicate value propositions.
- Initiate contact with leads through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and social media.
- Clearly and effectively articulate the company’s value proposition.
- Qualify leads based on established criteria before passing them to the sales team.
- Collaborate with sales representatives to ensure a smooth handover of qualified leads.

- You need to have practical ability to get past the gatekeepers and speak to the salon owner; identifying customer problems and painting a picture of what our software can give them; this will require excellent listening and questioning skills.

Your Role
- Building and managing a pipeline of qualified leads: Cold call Leads and Marketing leads, nurturing over days, weeks or months, depending on length cycle and converting them into meetings.
- Qualifying prospects to ensure that every opportunity we create has true potential to convert into business. Using a combination of solution sales methodology, scripted and unscripted conversations to engage business decision makers in productive, meaningful discussions, asking open questions, uncovering business pain points, and matching benefits.
- Managing closed loop feedback to drive continuous improvement in our team’s performance.
- A full induction will be given and will include training with the educators, then shadowing the sales team to learn about our clients and the best way to approach them.
- Meeting the team, introducing them to the Hair and Beauty industry if they have not come from that background.
- Education on the basics how our product helps salons.
- Role playing and sales scripts.
- Join in on sales meetings with the sales team.
- Details on what information needs to be passed to the Consultant when booking a meeting.
- HubSpot training.
Your main Responsibilities - Key Performance Indicators
- Phone: Answer calls within 3 rings according to company guidelines.
- Pass messages on efficiently.
- Running campaigns to existing customers.
- Following up on new leads that come in.
- Cold Calling: Phone the companies provided.
- Follow the scripts.
- Call at a minimum rate of 100 calls/day. Target 140+ calls/day.
- Have a minimum of 20 meaningful conversations/day.
- Book a minimum of 1 demo/day. Target 3/day for Sales Team.
- Send email confirmations and further information as requested.
- Add notes to HubSpot for each call.
- Schedule the demo within 7 days of the call.
- Complete the tick sheet at the end of each day.
- Update the Sales Manager each day with demos booked and the days results.
- HubSpot: Complete Tasks and Scheduled Calls on time.
- Complete Opportunities for each demo done.
- Chat: Provide online chat to Website Visitor.
