Location: Leigh/Manchester (with travel across the UK)

Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum

The Opportunity

This is an ideal opportunity for someone at the beginning of their engineering career who is passionate about technology, enjoys solving real-world problems, and wants to gain practical experience working on live projects across the UK. You'll work alongside experienced engineers, receiving structured training and support while contributing to the installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of intelligent building systems. No two days are the same. One day you may be preparing hardware and software in the office, and the next you could be on-site helping deliver innovative smart building solutions for clients.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Assisting with the installation and commissioning of IoT and smart building systems
  • Preparing, configuring, and testing hardware and software solutions
  • Supporting the deployment of building controls, monitoring systems, and connected technologies
  • Working alongside engineers on customer sites across the UK
  • Participating in project planning and team coordination meetings
  • Engaging with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders
  • Supporting troubleshooting and maintenance activities
  • Learning new technologies and contributing ideas for improving systems and processes
