Our client is looking to hire a talented Data & Market Insights Intern to join their close-knit and dedicated team on a summer internship (July till August 2025). Our client is an award-winning tech start-up specialising in Flexible Living Solutions for Real Estate.

This is a hybrid role with a salary of £25K – £26K pro rata. In this role you will contribute to maintaining a robust and well-organised customer database, enabling targeted marketing efforts and supporting the company's overall sales and marketing strategies.

The Role

This exciting intern role resides within our dynamic go to market team, fostering collaboration between both the marketing, sales and customer service teams. The Opportunity

  • You will be at the tip of the spear when it comes to assisting in researching, identifying and updating our CRM data.
  • You will work across many different customer, product segments and geographies, generating new contact and assisting with data integrity.
  • Working with a specialised team of Marketing professionals, and Business Development Managers and Account Executives you will assist the team in creating fresh contacts that aid lead generation.
  • Helping to manage their customer database to ensure contact information is accurate and up to date
  • Day-to-day activities include research, data collection, data validation, reporting and supporting the needs of the sales and marketing teams
  • You are a creative problem solver and a strategic thinker.
  • Strong work ethic, organised and disciplined to achieve assigned KPI metrics

Responsibilities

  • Utilise Hubspot for data management: (training will be provided) and leverage its capabilities to effectively manage customer data. Utilise Hubspot to update, organise, and maintain accurate prospect and customer information.
  • Research and validate contact information: Conduct thorough research to find missing or incomplete contact information for individuals within the customer database. This includes researching email addresses, full names, and companies associated with the contacts. Verify the accuracy of the information through reliable sources.
  • Add new contacts and expand the database: Identity and research companies within the target industries (real estate, hospitality, etc.) to add new potential contacts to the database. Gather contact details, including first name, last name, email address, company name, and business type. Ensure all new contacts are properly added to the database.
  • Enhance existing contact records: Review and update the existing contact records within the database. Ensure that all contacts have complete and accurate information, including first name, last name, email address, company name, and business type. Fill in any missing details by conducting research and verifying the information.
  • Maintain data quality and integrity: Regularly monitor the customer database to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity. Cleanse and deduplicate the data as necessary to eliminate any inconsistencies or redundancies. Implement data quality checks and adhere to data governance practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with the sales, marketing, and customer service teams to understand their data needs and requirements. Collaborate on initiatives that require accurate and well-segmented data and provide support in generating reports and analysis based on the data.
