The predicted salary is between 35550 - 43450 £ per year.

Our client is an innovative telco specialising in Bulk SMS, Voice and Mobile Billing with clients all around the world. We have a powerful team that work together as a family in London, Cape Town, Melbourne and Guernsey. We are looking for a self-motivated and passionate person to join our Bulk SMS team.

Account Management Responsibilities:

  • Looking after day-to-day queries/requests from our customers
  • Building long-term relationships with customers
  • Gaining a deep understanding of customer accounts (i.e. where they send, how often, our cost, the price they pay etc)
  • Evaluate and negotiate prices with both customers and suppliers to maximize profits
  • Track daily metrics (SMS sent, delivered, failed…) and act accordingly
  • Assist with challenging customer requests and issues

Working with the tech team to:

  • Improve existing software in line with feedback from customers
  • Develop new software in line with the specifications of customers

Sales Responsibilities:

  • Converting inbound leads
  • Up and cross-selling different services to customers

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Authorising and approving supplier invoices and generating customer invoices
  • Check customer/supplier data, update customer profiles when appropriate
  • Working with finance to collect outstanding invoices

The successful candidate will:

  • Have 5+ years’ experience in a sales/account management
  • Have a Russel Group university degree, preferably in the field of science, maths, accounting or engineering
  • Work autonomously with the support of the team
  • Be people-oriented and enjoy connecting with customers from all over the world
  • Love technology and be willing to learn and understand software applications
  • Be happy juggling responsibilities across sales, account management and the administrative tasks
  • Have excellent communication skills and be 100% fluent in English (both written and verbal). Other languages are a plus
  • Have experience/interest in the tech industry with preference for Telecommunications
  • Be proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Have the ability to manage multiple accounts and maintain sharp attention to detail
  • Have excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Be good at arithmetic
  • Work hard and play hard
  • Work at night or on weekends occasionally, if required
  • Love travelling and attending trade shows, industry events and parties

Basic coding language/programming knowledge and advanced computer skills (i.e. image corrections, database queries, system administration) is a HUGE plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £70-90k plus approx. 20% bonus opportunities
