The role offers flexibility in planning your route and workload to meet targets. There is an occasional need to walk longer distances as not all customers live in built-up areas. The role includes a full-time flexible schedule with 30 hours per week between 8am and 8pm, Monday to Sunday. A company car may be available for the successful candidate.
Responsibilities
- Collect meter readings for gas, electric and water meters using a hand-held electronic device and other equipment.
- Plan and manage workload independently to achieve weekly targets set by the field delivery manager.
- Maintain accurate data to ensure customers receive correct and up-to-date bills.
- Occasionally walk longer distances to reach customers in non-densely populated areas.
- Report any dangerous meter installations or suspected signs of tampering.
- Represent the company in a professional and friendly manner; act as an ambassador for the brand.
- Complete full training provided; prior experience is not required.
Requirements
- A full UK driving licence.
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors.
- Ability to plan and manage workload independently and work toward targets.
- Flexible and positive attitude toward tasks and working hours.
