We are working with a highly regarded UK commercial energy supplier, specialising in gas and electricity for business customers across the UK. Known for their strong customer focus, operational excellence, and continued growth within the power and utilities sector, they are now looking to welcome a Metering & Billing Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with metering or billing experience who enjoys problem-solving, working with industry data, and playing a key role in delivering accurate, compliant, and timely services within a regulated electricity environment.
As Metering & Billing Coordinator, you will sit at the heart of the utilities operations function, ensuring the accurate management of metering data and the timely production of customer bills. You will oversee end-to-end billing processes while coordinating metering activities in line with industry regulations, data flows, and performance standards.
Working closely with internal teams, customers, and third-party industry partners, you will help maintain the integrity of supply point data, meter readings, and billing outputs. You will take ownership of resolving discrepancies, managing industry processes, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in metering and/or billing
- Experience within the utilities sector, ideally power/electricity
- Strong understanding of utilities operations and industry processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Proactive problem-solver with a process-improvement mindset
- Adaptable and flexible, with a collaborative approach
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel (advanced skills desirable)
- Experience working with metering agents or third-party service providers
