We’re driven by our purpose to build real communities that enhance the lives of our residents every day. We are seeking a Village Adviser to join our expanding Sales team. After seven years of phenomenal growth and numerous awards, we are backed by a joint venture partnership between Legal & General PLC and NatWest Group Pension Trustee Limited. We are on course to significantly transform the later living experience in the UK with a commitment to expand our portfolio to 34 retirement villages, which equates to around 5,000 age-appropriate homes for retirees.
As a Sales Adviser, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets by successfully managing new home sales, rentals, resales, and relets from initial enquiry through to completion. You will also ensure a seamless handover to the operations team, supporting a smooth and welcoming transition for new residents moving into our retirement village.
The Role:
- Greeting prospective customers warmly and assisting with their enquiries in a professional, helpful, and efficient manner
- Managing the entire customer journey—from initial enquiry and show rounds to follow-ups, presentations, and move-ins
- Conducting home visits as agreed with the Sales Manager
- Creating and maintaining accurate customer records in the CRM system
- Overseeing daily sales progression by following up on enquiries and responding to leads
- Monitoring and managing the sales process from reservation to completion and move-in
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with estate agents, solicitors, and Assisted Move Package partners
- Updating key stakeholders on sales progress and developments
- Collaborating with village operations, particularly the Village Manager, to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Producing weekly and monthly sales reports in a timely and accurate manner
- Assisting in planning, organising, and delivering sales events
- Supporting marketing initiatives and identifying opportunities to promote the village
- Participating in networking activities to increase community engagement
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and welcoming sales suite and office
Key Requirements:
- Experience in new home sales, property conveyancing, and/or sales within a retirement living environment
- Proficiency in database management and maintaining accurate customer records
- Background in sales and/or customer service, with an outgoing, friendly, and helpful approach
